Terms of use

SignalCV is currently available as a free student-focused launch. No payment card is collected and a free account does not convert automatically into a paid subscription. Cost-intensive beta features may have fair usage limits. Any future paid option will require a separate, deliberate purchase.

SignalCV provides CV structure, evidence, alignment, writing, export, and optional job-discovery and public-source role-research tools. Third-party job advertisements are supplied by the identified provider, can change or expire without notice, and link back to the provider or employer. SignalCV is not the employer and does not guarantee that a vacancy remains available or that every advert is accurate. SignalCV scores are product guidance—not scores from an employer or ATS vendor—and do not predict or guarantee a hiring outcome.

Live job search currently uses the authorised Adzuna API. Listings are displayed with source attribution and an original-listing link. You may save a vacancy to your private application tracker and create an evidence-grounded CV version for it. SignalCV does not scrape restricted job boards, act as an employer, submit the application, or promise that saving a listing reserves or extends it.

The optional SignalCV extension fills supported repetitive fields only after you invoke it on the current page. It does not guarantee that a third-party form was interpreted correctly and does not submit applications. You must review every filled value, provide documents and job-specific answers yourself, comply with the destination site's terms, and make the final submission decision. Do not use autofill to misrepresent identity, eligibility, experience, or qualifications.

You must provide information you are entitled to use, keep sign-in details secure, review every suggestion for accuracy, and make the final decision about anything submitted to an employer. Do not fabricate qualifications, impersonate another person, include unnecessary patient or client data, upload malicious files, probe other accounts, evade usage limits, or disrupt the service.

You retain ownership of the CV and job-search content you provide. You permit SignalCV and its disclosed service providers to process that content only as needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the features you request. You confirm that you have the right to provide the content.

AI tailoring sends the master CV and confirmed vacancy to Google Gemini to propose a separate, job-specific version. The master CV remains unchanged. Automated checks limit unsupported changes, but AI output can still be incomplete or wrong, so you must review and confirm every proposed sentence. Optional Deep Role Research also uses Gemini and public web sources; it does not reveal private hiring decisions or prove why another candidate succeeded. SignalCV never authorises automatic factual invention.

The service is under active development. Features may change, pause, or fail, and usage limits may be applied to protect users, providers, and operating costs. We may suspend abusive or unlawful use. Where practical, we will provide notice before intentionally ending the service or materially changing these terms.

SignalCV is editing and decision-support software, not legal, immigration, recruitment, medical, financial, or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for application requirements, professional-registration rules, and the final accuracy of your CV.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that restriction, SignalCV is not responsible for employer decisions, missed opportunities, reliance on unverified research, or indirect losses arising from use of a beta service. Keep your own copy of important career documents.

You can stop using SignalCV and delete your account in Settings. If paid plans are enabled, the checkout page shows the price, billing interval, included research credits, and any student discount before payment. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the billing portal. Unused promotional or monthly credits have no cash value; statutory cancellation and refund rights are unaffected. Opening or leaving checkout does not create a purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
